I don't want to be a geek

Mám magistra z matfyzu, celé dni trávim programovaním, ktoré milujem, ale NIE SOM GEEK. Je to jasné?

Naozaj sa snažím aby som sa vymanila označeniu geek, každý deň sa maľujem, pokúšam sa obliekať sa pekne ( občas vytiahnem aj sukňu! ), sprchujem sa raz denne a vlasy si umývam viackrát do týždňa. Spomínam si na jedného spolužiaka z výšky, čo za opaskom nosil kladivo a je ťažké čo i len predstaviť si ho bez odporných mastných dlhých vlasov. Alebo jeden profesor, ktorý celý očervenel a tváril sa, že sa vyparil, keď som mu položila otázku v priebehu hodiny. Alebo môj vedúci vo Francúzsku, ktorému sa občas podarilo obliecť si košelu naruby. Krásne spomienky.

I'm trying really hard not to be a geek, I wear makeup, I try to dress nicely( sometimes even a skirt! ), I take shower every day and wash my hair several time a week. I remember a guy from my class at uni, who wore a hammer behind his belt and I can't even imagine him without greasy disgusting long hair. Or the teacher who got all red and pretended he evaporated when I asked a question. Or my supervisor in France who sometime wore his shirt inside out. Lovely memories.

No ale prečo to vlastne hovorím. Dnes som bola u očného a musím nosiť okuliare, pretože ... nie som geek a čučím do počítača minimálne 8 hodín denne. Ale ja nechcem vyzerať takto

Anyway, today, I found out, that I need glasses, because .... I'm not a geek and
 spent at least 8 hours a day staring at computer screen(s). I don't want to look like this
