On travaille au travail!

V práci som na roztrhanie. Vždy to tak bolo a zrejme to tak už aj zostane. Moja prvá skutočná pracovná skúsenosť  prebehla v Paríži. Šesť mesačnú stáž som trávila v národnom výskumnom ústave a rozhodne som sa nenudila. Hlavne keď sa konal Wimbledon, Roland Garros, Olympijské hry alebo Euro. V kuchynke/ spoločenskej mietnosti sme mali podrobnú tabuľku odohratých zápasov/ turnajového pavúka a skóre sme updateovali každý deň ráno. A fandili sme Novakovi Djokovicovi.

I work hard. I have always worked hard and it will probably stay like that for ever. My first real work experience was in Paris. I did a 6 months internship in the national research center and I had surely no time to get bored. Especially during Wimbledon, Roland Garros, Olympic Games or Euro. In our kitchen/common room we had a detailed time table with all matches that we updated every morning (first thing after arriving). And we supported Novak Djokovic.

 

Musím sa priznať, že prvý krát v živote som pozerala aj vzpieranie live.

I must say, that was the first time I watched weightlifting live.

Po príchode do Anglicka je to iné, šéf nie je zarytým fanúšikom Paris Saint-Germain a celkovo tým, v ktorom som, veľmi športu neholduje. Zato radi testujeme rôzne aplikácie a vychytávky.

After starting working in England everything changed. Well, almost. My boss is not a fan of Paris Saint-Germain and generally, the team I'm working with is not fond of sports that much. On the other hand, we love testing different applications and advanced technical features.

Samozrejme nechcem povedať, že v práci nič nerobím, človek proste potrebuje občas vypnúť, či?

Of course I don't want to say, that I do nothing at work, but sometimes, we all need a break, right?

Home sweet home vol.2

Už je to desať dní, čo som sa presťahovala. Každým dňom je to lepšie a lepšie, i keď stále nič iné nerobím, len kupujem nové veci, ktoré si človek všimne, až keď ich potrebuje. Jedného dňa ráno som si chcela dať pohár vody a narazila som na prekážku...ešte sme nekúpili poháre.

Ale už je to lepšie.

Today, it has been 10 days I moved to my new flat. Every day it's getting better and better even though I am still doing nothing else but buying those little things you take for granted but actually there must have been someone who had bought them...Like in the morning, I wanted to have a glass of water and realized, that we don't have any glasses.

But it's better now.

A už nemusíme všetko krájať na tanieri.

And we don't have to cut everything on a plate anymore.

Začína sa to podobať na domov.

Starts looking like a home.
